How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent garage door provider. Not Marketinghosts Garage Doors. Marketinghosts Garage Doors makes the connection and steps back.
Each provider runs their own business. They set their own schedule, prices and warranty terms. Keep that in mind when you compare.
What They'll Ask You
Expect a few simple questions. Have the answers ready.
- What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, slow, crooked?
- Did you hear a bang before it stopped?
- Is the door open or closed right now?
- How old is the door, roughly?
- Is it a manual lift or a new garage door opener?
Photos help. A shot of the springs, the tracks and any gaps works well.
Questions to Ask the Provider
You are allowed to ask. Good providers expect it.
- Is the quote in writing, and does it list parts and labor?
- Is this repair, or does the door need replacing?
- Do you need to adjust track alignment, or swap the track?
- How long is the warranty on parts and on labor?
- What happens if you find another problem during the visit?
- Do you offer emergency garage service, and what does it involve?
Safety First
Springs and cables hold a lot of force. Do not try to loosen or adjust them yourself. Leave the door alone and keep people clear of it until a provider looks.
The Decision Is Yours
Quote before work. The provider explains, you decide. If the number is higher than you expected, ask what drives it. Get a second quote if you want one. No obligation.
